The Climate Change

By Fareeha Amir Khan

Earth is the planet on which the life exists.  The climate is characterized by hot dry summer, And cool, wet winters. A steppe is a dry grassland with an annual temperature range in the summer of up to 40 °C (104 °F) and during the winter down to −40 °C (−40 °F).

What causes the earth’s climate to change?

We think of the climate we enjoy today as normal; however, the Earth’s climates are always changing. the Earth’s climates are always changing.

The global climate change catastrophe has placed the globe in a precarious position, requiring unique, cross-border action. The figurative rising waves of climate change are having an impact on every region of the world as temperature rise, ice caps melt, and extreme weather events occur more frequently. We will discuss the current condition of the earth, the cause and the effects of climate change.

Changes in the Orbit Earth

The Earth’s orbit around the Sun is an ellipse, not a circle but the ellipse changes shape. Sometimes it is almost circular and the Earth stays approximately the same distance from the Sun as it progresses around its orbit. At other times the ellipse is more pronounced so that the Earth moves closer and further away from the sun as it orbits. When the Earth is closer to the sun our climate is warmer.

Climate Change Condition in Pakistan

  • Human activities are the major cause of climate change. The foremost cause is global warming.
  • Although Pakistan is not much contributing in global warming and climate change, yet it is the seventh most affected country. The Global Change Impact Studies Centre of Pakistan shows that the mean annual temperature has increased in the recent past with greater increase in Sindh and Baluchistan.
  • Pakistan’s water cycle is the primary affected area of climate change. Agriculture is one of the major sectors likely to be adversely affected by climate change.

Rising Tides: Navigating the Climate Change Crisis

A coordinated international effort is needed to address the climate change crisis. Nearly all nations have ratified the Paris Agreement, which seeks to keep global warming well below 2 degree Celsius over pre-industrial levels. Businesses, individuals and governments all have important responsibilities to play in putting mitigation policies into action. Reforestation, sustainable practices, and the switch to renewable energy sources are essential for lowering our carbon. To deal with the unavoidable effects of climate change, adaption techniques are just as important as migration policies in to action. Reforestation, sustainable practices, and the switch to renewable energy sources are essential for lowering our carbon footprint.

Even while structural reforms is essential, people can still make a difference in the battle against climate change. Making sustainable lifestyle decision, cutting back on consumption an supporting environmental legislation are effective ways for citizens have a good influence.  Through adopting a green attitude in simultaneously, people can improve more significant societal transformation.

The climate change catastrophe is gaining momentum, necessitating swift and persistent response. Collaboration between government, communities, and individuals is essential as we navigate these turbulent waters in order to reduce the causes, prepare for the effects, and create a more sustainable future. The legacy we leave for future generations will depend on the decisions we make today. It is time to take decisive action, work together and make a common commitment to protecting the environment.

“The Earth does not belong to us : we belong to the earth.”

The Climate Reality

Today, climate change is standing in the way of a healthy tomorrow for all of us. But we know that practical solutions are right in front of us. We can create a healthy, sustainable, and prosperous future by making a planet-wide shift from dirty fossil fuels to clean, reliable, and affordable renewable energy. At Climate Reality, we combine digital media initiatives, global organizing events, and peer to-peer outreach programs to share this good news with citizens everywhere and build overwhelming popular support for policies that accelerate the global transition to a clean energy economy.

Message for the Youth

You can play a leading role in saving our planet and can start right this very moment. One way is dietary changes we can make it today. You can choose to be heroes but understand that, heroes need bravery as their guiding principle and bravery require sacrifice. Be brave! make a small sacrifice and don’t fear change for the better.
