Students Janeeta Ahmad Awan, Aiman Tahir Hashmi, Usman Ghani and Usman Awan from the University of Punjab won the Monthly Competition for Reporting on Climate Change Awareness. They made this informative mini-documentary on the devastating economic and social effects of #ClimateChange in #Pakistan. This student-film covers youth perspectives, interviews with experts and sheds light on the devastation that climate change has brought to the country, stressing upon the need for urgent #ClimateAction. These students were trained on citizen journalism and climate change awareness under SSDO’s two-year project: “Youth for Civic Action and Reporting on Climate Change through Citizen Journalism in Pakistan”, funded by the Commonwealth Foundation. #ClimateEmergency #SDG13 #YouthforClimate
